legal advice. You should consult your own attorney or seek specific advice from a
legal professional regarding your particular situation.

Experian policy at the time of writing. While maintained for your information,

Ask Max responses address general questions about credit reporting and direct
marketing. Because of the volume of questions received, Maxine Sweet cannot
respond to each question individually. However, if your question is of
interest to a wide audience, she will include it in a future column.
Note: Do not submit disputes of information in your credit
history through Ask Max. Maxine Sweet is unable to process requests for
investigation of information in your personal credit history. To request
a dispute, you must first obtain a copy of your Experian personal credit
history by ordering your
credit report online or by calling 888 EXPERIAN (888 397 3742).
To request a dispute, use our online disputing process
for fast resolution. To receive personal assistance, call the telephone number
or write to the address provided on your credit report.
